Eyespot Releases Version 2.0 of Online Video Mixing Community at Under the Radar Conference

Eyespot Corp., developer of the world’s first online video editing and remixing community, today announced Eyespot 2.0 at the Under the Radar conference. Eyespot lets consumers easily upload, edit, mix together and share video clips, audio files or photos in one place online, with the new version providing enhanced special effects, transitions and a complete toolset for video editing. Eyespot 2.0 is available immediately at www.eyespot.com.

In addition to Eyespot’s simple drag-and-drop video mixing, new features take online video editing to unseen levels. A new Developer’s Program lets members use a simple API to create effects and transitions that enhance the quality and creativity of final video productions. Because Eyespot is built on an open system, anyone can easily upload and share their creations with the Eyespot community for broad availability and use at any time. Eyespot 2.0 provides the following new features:

-- Special Effects - Drag-and-drop to apply effects to video mixes, with options including black and white, sepia tone, multiple colors, slow- and fast-motion playback and the ability to rotate mixes to various angles. -- Transitions - Apply transitions to any video mix, including fade-in, fade-out or dissolve from one clip to the next. -- Developer's Program - Create custom special effects or transitions using the Eyespot API, submit to the Developer's Program and the best effects and transitions will be made available to the community. Developers can participate in the program by sending email to developers@eyespot.com.

“The new Eyespot makes it incredibly easy for consumers to edit and customize their videos with all of the features found in desktop editing software — but without the software download or learning curve,” said David Dudas, Eyespot co-founder and chief technology officer. “Our focus is on making video editing and sharing as easy as a few clicks of a mouse, and with Eyespot 2.0, this focus is front and center and a great benefit to consumers.”

Eyespot is extremely flexible for a range of media and computing environments. The open system supports popular files such as AVI, MPEG, MP4, MOV, DivX, WMV, MP3, JPG and GIF and works with Internet Explorer and Firefox on both the PC and Mac.
