INCEP Technologies promotes Jim Hjerpe Kaskade to President

INCEP Technologies announced today that Jim Hjerpe Kaskade has been promoted to President. Mr. Kaskade was formerly INCEP’s V.P. of Marketing and Sales. The appointment took effect October 9, 2000.

“It is critical to have a strong leader for our company’s success. I feel that Jim has demonstrated his leadership abilities in managing critical functions for INCEP during the past year, most notably in connection with our prototype development agreement with Intel Corporation to support the development of a new small form-factor IA-64 server prototype,” stated Jack E. Shemer, INCEP’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Kaskade is a co-founder of INCEP Technologies and has over twelve years of experience in developing and marketing proprietary technologies and services. Since INCEP secured its first round of funding in November 1999, Mr. Kaskade has served as INCEP’s V.P. of Marketing and Sales. Prior to INCEP, Mr. Kaskade held a broad range of positions in engineering, product management, and marketing. As Director of Marketing and Sales at Convergence Design, Inc. (CDI), and earlier at NCR Corporation’s Teradata Division, Mr. Kaskade was responsible for establishing new business strategies, managing product programs, establishing strategic partnerships, and creating new sales/distribution channels.
